Artist Statement

The reason that I make artwork is because it relaxes me and is appealing to the eye. I mainly get inspired when I am calm and happy, because I generally take pictures when I am in a good mood and enjoying what I am doing. When I make art I usually am taking pictures. I don't think that drawing or painting is fun because it takes much more technique than I have. I generally use my phone or my camera to take pictures. One thing I like to do if I take pictures is put the main subject off to the side because I think it is more aesthetically pleasing. To me, my artwork represents the places I have been and the things that give me bliss. Whenever I take pictures, In feel as though it represents a bit of who I am and I believe you can learn a lot about a person based on their artwork.
